He is a visual artist with a degree in visual arts and communication from the National University of Costa Rica and a master’s degree in visual arts from the University of Southern California (USA). His work explores multiple languages to investigate common sense and critical discourse that specify Latin American black culture in the broader context of the African diaspora. He has exhibited individually at the venue TEOR/éTica (San Jose) and in collective and film festivals in Canada, Costa Rica, United States, France and Mexico.
