Experimental videos and documentaries were the main highlights of this edition of the festival, following the international trend at the time. The event presented the largest parallel program ever up until then, featuring artists from Germany, Canada, the United States, France and England. The catalog features information about the video programming, debate panels and awards, curatorial texts and writings by the Brazilians Alberto Baumstein, Arnaldo Antunes, Cacilda Teixeira da Costa, Gabriel Priolli, José Roberto Aguilar, Lucila Meirelles, Ricardo de Carvalho, Roberto Amado and Tadeu Jungle.
