At the end of the 1980s, video gained prominence in Brazil, and the independent production began to conquer territories on TV. Attentive to this environment, the Festival had three main thematic axes: the introduction of video on TV, video theater, and the dissemination of the growing national production around Brazil and abroad. The catalog features information about the video programming, debate panels and awards, texts by the curators and critical essays by the Brazilians Otavio Donasci and Lina H.
