Other artistic experiences, such as installations, performances, artist’s books, photography and painting are included in the competitive exhibition in 2011. With works by 101 artists from Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, the event becomes the first contemporary art festival in Brazil and brings the first exhibition of Olafur Eliasson to ever be held in the country. The bilingual publication brings together critical content about the participating works and artists, and curatorial texts.
