The book features photo essays of the installations shown in Brazil, portraying the artist's approach to the city of São Paulo, in which he sensorially addressed issues related to science and philosophy. Also included are texts by Lisette Lagnado and Guilherme Wisnik, in which they relate Eliasson's work to contemporary Brazilian manifestations in such fields as art and architecture. And an interview given to the curator and organizer of the book, Jochen Volz, where the artist discusses his perceptions of the city, comments on the spaces occupied by the exhibition and reflects on the current role of art.
