The 18th Contemporary Art Festival Sesc_Videobrasil counts on a special mediation activity for those interested in understanding and generating better fruition of the Southern Panoramas competitive show and the 30 Years exhibition, part of the current edition of the contemporary art festival. Mediation Actions of the 18th Festival include a team of 23 people with tablets at the disposal of the viewers and works with QrCodes, directly providing more complete information and references in Platform VB on the works and artists. But the greatest news in this edition isn’t technological. The Atlas sticker album brings introductory texts on the themes suggested by the exhibitions, completed with 30 stickers created based on the images of the videos that mark the Festival and the works that are part of the Southern Panoramas show.
The stickers are divided into six packages, distributed for free at Sesc Pompeia, where the exhibitions in the current edition of Sesc_Videobrasil are taking place. The images contained in the stickers reflect the exhibitions in the Festival. The texts included help the audience in themes like the diversity of contemporary art and the curatorial process. There is also a map that explains the point of the Geopolitical South as well as testimonials by artists regarding their works. "We thought about a playful, childish object, whose focus was not on children alone,” explained Marcela Tiboni, the project coordinator. "The project is turned to children, adults, the elderly and the public in general.”
