Zé Carlos Garcia works on his sculptures as if he were assembling landscape bombs. He compiles the diverse textures of an environment into one object. At the Biennial Sesc_Videobrasil, he is presenting a goat carved from the twisted trunk of a eucalyptus tree felled on the artist's site in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, in a management option aimed at re-establishing the original vegetation of the Atlantic Forest. From the central volume sprout horns, legs and a splendor, which tension the symbolic offering with the organic movement of the plants.
