A collection of table lamps flicker in a room. The strange functioning of these short-circuited bulbs reveals a bond between people. "Soliloquy", by the Tromarama collective, is activated every time the hashtag #kinship is typed by users of X (formerly Twitter).
When published on the platform, the word is converted into a binary code in real time, which sets up a new sequence in the luminaires. The flashing lights bring into play the shapeless phantom of collective desires, which is continuously produced in the limbo of global cybernetic data. The control of desire operated by the post-internet economy materializes in the physical space, provoking an encounter between the changing projections of the virtual public and the people who interact with the work.
