A metal structure with 16 screens hangs over the ramp of Sesc 24 de Maio, broadcasting news and programs from various eras, documentaries, advertisements and off-air screens. "Flat Circle" is a collaboration between Karel Koplimets and Maido Juss, which produces a cacophony of sound and visuals that mixes real facts, fictions and deepfakes.
The work reflects on the effects of distortions and excesses of information on our imagination and our belief system and discusses the inevitable consequences of the neoliberal information economy.
