Hsu Che-Yu's work includes testimonies, fiction, re-enactments and digital rendering and animation resources, as well as forensic and journalistic procedures. Shown at the 22nd Biennial Sesc_Videobrasil, the video highlights the precariousness of memory and the artificial nature of its construction and visualization.

The animation starts from memories of the artist's brother's family and adds to them the memory of two criminal cases that took place in Taipei, his hometown, and were the subject of news reports: the murder of a teenager and the testimony of a passer-by who saw a dog wandering down the street carrying an unrecognizable woman's head in its mouth.
