Archives and collections exist to gather historical records, organize them and provide access to researchers. They also exist to ensure the accountability of governments and institutions, and as a record of decisions and events. A conversation with Brazilian artists Leila Danziger, Eduardo Montelli and Zé Carlos Garcia, mediated by Paula Nascimento (Angola), considers archiving strategies, the role of objects, and the ethics and emotions involved in collecting.

The conversation was part of the Public Programs of the 22nd Sesc_Videobrasil Biennial.
