A selection of broadcasts by the homonymous pirate TV operating in Rio de Janeiro between 1987 and 1990. Sequences captured from the regular program of network television and other products of the audiovisual industry are anarchically organized, with new sounds created by the group, and edited together with despiteful commentaries of passersby from the city of Rio de Janeiro. A humorous historical document, it brings to mind the popular frustration caused by the end of the “slow, gradual and safe” process of political “relaxation” proposed by the Brazilian status quo that started in the 1970s, unveiling the abyss between the image of society portrayed by the big networks and the perception of the people in the streets.
