As part of the project Queer Archives Institute (QAI), in which Radziszewski researches queer memory in peripheral regions through collection of items and pieces of information, Radziszewski records his meeting with João Silvério Trevisan, writer and one of the editors of the pioneer newspaper Lampião da Esquina (1978-1981), the first to address LGBT issues during the dictatorship. Throughout the interview, João talks about his life-long activism for LGBT visibility and rights. He tells how the publication was created after he returned from his exile in California, the difficulties to distribute the newspaper throughout the country and problems with censorship during the dictatorship.
