The performance and installation are derived from the ritualistic preparation of the ajebó, a food used as votive offering to Xangô, the orixá of justice. The artist explores the dance and percussive sounds that result from the act of beating the mixture of okrah, honey, pam oil, and orange blossom water while invoking the deity.
