The work is part of a series in which Machado takes objects and images out of their original context in a furniture factory and introduces them into a gallery space, creating arrangements with strong plastic presence and organizing works as if on an assembly line. The video exemplifies an intervention that creates or evinces relations between such theoretically distinct ambits as industry and art, the architectonic and the pictorial, the familiar and the political.
