The Global South and its multiple issues—which concern diasporas, hybrid identities, migratory transit, personal narratives and isolation—were inspirations for this edition of the biennial. The bilingual publication features content about the work and ideas of Abdoulaye Konaté (Mali), Gabriel Abrantes (Portugal), Rodrigo Matheus (Brazil), Sônia Gomes (Brazil) and Yto Barrada (Morocco/France), artists gathered around the exhibition Southern Panoramas | Guest Artists, which was part of the 19th festival's programming, with the Global South in focus. This is one of three publications launched in this edition, alongside Southern Panoramas | Selected Artists and Southern Panoramas | Readings | Perspectives for Other Geographies of Thought
