Using the video theater language created by Otávio Donasci, Cavaleiro do Apocalipse (Horseman of the Apocalypse) is a performance that portrays the situation of desperation the world and Brazil are in. A strange being dressed in black, riding a white horse, with a video monitor for a face and yielding a fluorescent sword, ranted about the cultural scenario of then as a sign of the end of times. The Horseman rode through the streets of São Paulo, leaving from Augusta Street and arriving at the Museum of Image and Sound. The performance took place on the Festival’s opening night.
