For the first time, the Festival received full coverage in Videojornal, a daily e-magazine. Coverage of the 6th Festival’s fifth and last day featured an overview of the competitive show, with 174 entries and 35 shortlisted pieces. The program featured statements from "video curious" people, among them the actresses Lala Deheinzelin and Giulia Gam, and the artist Paulo Von Poser; Rita Moreira and the journalist Teté Martinho were featured in “boca no trombone” (blow your horn). The "recordação" segment presented the winners of the 5th Festival, highlighting Heróis da Decadência and an interview with Tadeu Jungle. From this year’s competitive show, the highlights were Letardo do barato, by Alex Maciel, and Now, by Patricia Prata, including statements from the directors. The pioneering program was produced in a mini studio with Super VHS equipment that fed images to a closed-circuit TV system comprising 60 monitors. The program was shown on a daily basis to the audience at the Festival and rebroadcasted by TV Gazeta.
