An artist, Parigi holds a degree in Visual Arts from Fundação Álvares Penteado, São Paulo. He works with drawing, painting and installation, reflecting on bodily excess throughout all his work, in self-referencing pieces that utilize images from popular culture, anatomy and botany. Under the alter ego Fancy Violence, created by the artist in 2013, he has since focused on performance actions as the core element of his artistic inquiries striving to create a propositional field for the activation of the body where gender and sexuality issues are recurrent themes. He has been featured in group exhibitions such as TRANSformação, Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, São Paulo (2014); Medos Modernos, Tomie Ohtake Institute, São Paulo (2014); Works on paper, Rabitthole Space, New York, USA (2011); Spinnerei walkabout, Leipzig, Germany (2011); Os primeiros dez anos (Tomie Ohtake Institute, São Paulo, Brazil, 2011); among others. He had major solo exhibitions at the Sketch, Bogotá, Colombia (2014), Phosphurus, São Paulo (2014) and Casa Modernista, São Paulo (2013). He lives and works in São Paulo.
